ASA's Fifth Album is finally here!

Asa is back on the music scene with a new 10-track studio album called V.
 The project, which follows his 2019 studio album Lucid, also dazzles with guests from Grammy-winning singer Wizkid as well as heavyweights Cavemen and Amaarae.

Asa, who has a lasting legacy as an alternative singer, with influences from soul music, funk and folk rock, changes her mood with this new project, as she dives into an alternative RnB heavy character. The project also sees Asa break her streak of solos, as she unusually chooses to feature other singers on the record.

On V, Asa continues his treatise on human relationships, and love, which have been a staple of his discography.

The title "IDG," featuring Wizkid, expresses her desire to "live in the moment" and continue to trust God, as well as her ability to remain resilient despite life's challenges. Wizkid also loves the record with a mid-tempo groove, as it talks about vanity, love, and self-motivation. With Amaarae, Asa dives into the alternative RnB scene, sounding more than ever with lo-fi RnB melodies, alongside the Ghanaian singer.
