Burna Boy victim of a traffic accident.

Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy was on Saturday night in Lagos involved in a car accident which left him slightly injured.

Burna took to his Instagram story to confirm reports that he screwed up his Ferrari after hitting a car in Lekki.

He wrote: “Yes, it is. I had a serious accident in my Ferrari today. My leg just hurts a little, but I'm fine."

He then said that he found it funny that people, instead of trying to help him, had the first instinct to film him.

Burna Boy felt that viewers were too excited to see him despite the accident, adding that he still loved his fans.

“It's just funny how everyone came out with phones checking me in instead of trying to help (I guess they were too excited to see me no matter what) but I tell you love all. Gambo got me,” he said.

In another post, he shared a video of his face to confirm to his fans that he was fine. “Just for confirmation. This is my face,” he captioned the video.
