The 32nd UNFP Trophies ceremony took place on Monday May 13, 2024 at the Pavillon d'Armenonville in Paris. It rewarded the best players, coaches and prospects in Ligue 1, Ligue 2 and D1 Arkema.

Here are some of the highlights of the evening:

  • Kylian Mbappé wins his fifth title as best player in Ligue 1:The Paris Saint-Germain striker once again dominated the championship, with 33 goals and 21 assists.   • Gianluigi Donnarumma voted best goalkeeper in Ligue 1:The Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper has had a remarkable season, with 19 clean sheets. He succeeds Mike Maignan (LOSC Lille), winner in 2023.UNFP Trophies: Gianluigi Donnarumma voted best goalkeeper in Ligue 1

  • Christophe Galtier elected best coach in Ligue 1:The Paris Saint-Germain coach led his team to a new French championship title, after a dominated season.   • Rose Lavaud crowned best player in D1 Arkema: The Olympique Lyonnais striker had an exceptional season, with 24 goals and 8 assists. She is ahead of Marie-Antoinette Katoto (Paris Saint-Germain) and Kadidiatou Diani (Paris Saint-Germain).
  • Sonia Bompastor voted best coach in D1 Arkema: The Olympique Lyonnais coach won her third French championship title with the club. She is ahead of Frédéric Taccone (Paris Saint-Germain) and Olivier Echouafni (FC Fleury 91).

The ceremony was also an opportunity to pay tribute to several personalities from the world of French football, including:

  • Michel Platini: The former French player and coach received an honorary trophy for his entire career.
  • Aimé Jacquet: The former coach of the French team, world champions in 1998, received a trophy for his work in the service of French football.
  • Sandrine Soubeyrand: The former player of the French women's team received a trophy for her contribution to the development of women's football.
