Burna Boy: “I Told Them” number 1 in the UK

Burna Boy made history as the first African artist to land a number 1 album in the UK with 'I Told Them'.

Official Charts Company confirmed on Friday that Burna Boy's seventh studio album, "I Told Them", debuted at number 1 this week on the UK Albums Chart.

The African Giant crooner received a plaque from the British record company in commemoration of his record.

It’s been quite a journey for Burna Boy, whose previous UK chart trajectories include 2019’s “African Giant” (#19), 2020’s “Twice As Tall” (#11) and “Love, Damini” of 2022 (#2).
