Mike Tyson will coach Francis Ngannou for his fight against Tyson Fury

Mike Tyson is expected to be part of Francis Ngannou's coaching staff for the Cameroonian's fight against Tyson Fury, Talksport reports. The former UFC heavyweight champion will make his boxing debut on October 28 in Saudi Arabia.

A great admirer of Mike Tyson, Francis Ngannou (36) convinced the former world heavyweight champion to coach him for his first boxing fight against Tyson Fury on October 28 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Cameroonian and the American have met several times but the relationship should therefore take a professional turn. "Iron Mike" (57), would have agreed to accompany Ngannou in his transition from MMA to boxing.

Mike Tyson has just announced that he will be alongside the Cameroonian during the training which will precede his confrontation against Tyson Fury: “It's no secret that I support Francis Ngannou 100% in this confrontation of champions. He has strong fists. And when he hits, it's game over. I look forward to working with him and supporting him in his transition from the octagon to the boxing ring. He's not a newbie. He's a world champion. […] We are here to win. » Now the scene seems set.

The challenge appears colossal. Tyson Fury (34 years old, 2,06 m, 120 kg) has 33 victories in professional boxing, including 24 before the limit, 1 draw and 0 defeat... Multiple world heavyweight champion, he beat opponents like Wladimir Klitschko, Deontay Wilder or Derek Chisora. He had been retired since last season but he agreed to put on the gloves especially for this fight against Francis Ngannou (36), with phenomenal power but without any experience in English boxing.
