Mimie at war with Pit Baccardi and his Empire Company label

On Monday, November 14, the Cameroonian artist Mimie released a press release written by his lawyer Maître Dieu Le Fit Nguiyan, against the music production label Empire Company by producer and rapper Pit Baccardi.

According to the press release, the interpreter of "I do not care” is the victim of sabotage with its business partners, from its Empire Company label, through Mrs. Esther Naah, general manager of the production structure.

“Despite recording over 25 tracks, no album has been produced by the company in 5 years; the artist has not received in five years any breakdown of his royalties, nor perceived the slightest remuneration in this respect; The Empire Company and Universal Music Africa companies appropriated the image of the artist Mimie and duly received commissions in the contracts that she signed with the brands when she had not transferred to Empire Company the attributes related to his image » can we read in this press release.

Empire Company's reaction was prompt. The label also reacted via a press release from the management, leaving it to the competent courts to take care of the misunderstanding.

On the web, Mimie receives massive support from several of her fellow artists and also from the public who find this press release plausible in view of the turn that the career of the talented artist was already taking.
