Beyoncé in talks to perform at the Oscars (EXCLUSIVE)

Nominated in the “Best Original Song” category for “Be Alive”, a title from the soundtrack of “The Williams Method”, Beyoncé could indeed occur during the ceremony.

The organizers of Oscars pull out all the stops to land an iconic performance from Beyoncé, nominated for Best Original Song, told Variety several sources close to the show.

As the superstar takes a break from the awards campaign for the past few months to support his track 'Be Alive', which he co-wrote with artist Dixson for the film " King richard the Beyoncé camp has been in extensive talks with producers to mount a satellite performance of the song — a performance that would possibly open the show, and stream live from the tennis courts in Compton, Calif.

The place, of course, is where sports legends Venus and Serena practiced relentless exercise in their youth under the watchful eye of their father, Richard.

"The Williams Method", directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green and with Will Smith in the lead role, has six nominations for this edition of the Oscars. The film comes just behind “West Side Story” (seven nominations), “Belfast” (9 nominations), “Dune” (10 nominations) and “The Power of the Dog” (twelve nominations). There are now only a few days left before the names of the big winners are revealed.

Remember that the 94th Academy Awards will take place on March 27 at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, California.
