Beyoncé: her father wants to develop his own biopic!

Was Mathew Knowles inspired by the success of “The Williams Method”, the film about the father of tennis champions Venus and Serena Williams? The businessman has in any case announced that he is developing a film based on his career as a manager of Destiny's Child, the band that launched her daughter's career Beyoncé.

To do this, Mathew Knowles entered into a merger agreement between the investment fund APX Capital Group and Knowles' Music World Entertainment Group.

The former manager of Destiny's Child is thus preparing to direct the cinema and television divisions of his new company, which are endowed with a fund of 274 million dollars in order to finance co-productions in the United States and Italy.

“The decision to partner with APX Capital Group aligns with Music World Entertainment Group's intention to expand its film and television portfolio. Through this unique collaboration and as head of this new division of APX, I will be able to share my life story. I am honored to be able to transmit it even more widely thanks to this alliance”, Mathew Knowles told Deadline.

No release date has yet been announced for this project, but there is no doubt that he will be very attentive to the performance of The Williams Method at the Oscars. The film, which stars Will Smith as the father of female tennis champions, is nominated in six major categories.
