Taraji P. Henson and Gabrielle Union team up behind the camera for a new project.

The co-stars of "Think Like a Man ”, Taraji P. Henson et Gabrielle Union, combine their star power for moviegoers to adapt a book about a young witch who embraces her literal black girl magic.

The duo, who haven't collaborated on a project since the rom-com sequel Will Packer in 2014, will serve as producer on the project about a young black witch-in-training. The project goes through I'll Have Another Union Productions and Henson's TPH Entertainment, as well as Gamechanger Movies by Effie T. Brown.

Brown's company has secured the rights to the novel on which the black fantasy film will be based.

"Sorcerority"Written by Mikhail sebastian et George watson, follows Mélanie's story as she navigates an unknown world in a “historically African-American coven and university of magic”.

This dark view of the world of witchcraft and witchcraft also offers a bit of mystery. "Mélanie quickly discovers that her enrollment in school may not be entirely of her choice, but rather the calculated actions of a higher authority", one can read in a description of the project. “Between her studies, she discovered her family link with the school's mysterious past, as well as its central role in its future.
