Akon City: construction valued at US $ 6 billion

Akon City awarded the city construction and execution contract to KE International, a US-based consulting and engineering firm. The futuristic US $ 6 billion cryptocurrency themed city is founded by Senegalese-American superstar and philanthropist Akon.

With the contract award, KE International has secured US $ 4 billion from investors for the first and second execution phases of Akon City, and Bakri & Associates Development Consultants, based in Dubai, will lead the architectural designs under the management of KE International.
