The new and very committed collaboration of TI and Nasty C. “They Don't”

Nasty C and TI unite for a powerful collaboration, tackling police brutality head-on with “They Don't”.

As protests against racial injustice and police brutality spread across the country, TI joins South African rapper Nasty C for a powerful anthem titled “They Don't”.

The song, intended to fight racial injustice across the United States, echoes similar incidents in South Africa.

Nasty C opens the ball with a reflection of the tragedies present in South Africa, drawing poignant parallels with those occurring in North America, while also expressing his frustrations: “I can only imagine the pain and the grief / from the innocent mothers with all the shit they had to see / when you lose the ones you love to the fuckin 'police / it cuts deep. (I can only imagine the pain and heartache / innocent mothers with all the shit they must have seen / when you lose the ones you love to the fucking police / it cuts deep) ”.

As for the native of Atlanta, (TI) he sends virulent punchlines as usual to the American authorities, showing how sorry he is to see unarmed blacks repeatedly die of police violence:
“Guess they'd rather see us all in civil unrest / Than to go and make some f__kin arrests./ (Guess they'd rather see us all in civil unrest / than go and make arrests)”.

Marked by a general negativism, the song is however encouraging. All funds from this will be donated to two associations. Until Freedom, a social justice association addressing systemic racial injustices around the world and the Solidarity Fund, a fund to aid and distribute food, water and shelter to those affected by COVID-19 in South Africa.
