“Africa Day Benefit Concert At Home”: a virtual charity concert presented by Idris Elba.

To celebrate Africa Day, Viacom CBS Networks Africa and YouTube, in partnership with British actor Idris Elba, are organizing a humanitarian concert called “Africa Day Benefit Concert At Home”.

This virtual transcontinental event is the commemoration of African Day alongside a host of African music stars. It also aims to raise funds to meet the health and nutritional needs of families most affected by the Covid-19 pandemic in Africa.

ViacomCBS Networks Africa is proud to show its solidarity and active citizenship in the face of COVID-19, by supporting the World Food Program and UNICEF in their efforts to access food and health aid to affected populations on the African continent. Presented by Idris Elba, the show will take place this May 25 at 18:00 p.m. (Paris time) with performances by the continent's greatest artists, including Angelique Kidjo, Burna Boy, Sauti Sol, AKA, Yemi Alade, Sho Madjozi, Davido, M manifest, Tiwa Savage, Stonebwoy, C4 Pedro, Toofan, Teni, Salif Keita, Nasty c etc, without forgetting the participation of the South African comedian Trevor Noah.
