The second edition of the international festival was originally scheduled for July 17, 18 and 19 in Portimão (Portugal), but the recent government decision, which bans large-scale events in the country until September, has led promoters to postpone the festival.

All tickets purchased for 2020 remain valid for the new dates.

As for the poster, it keeps names like Wizkid, Beenie Man, French Montana, Tory Lanez, Diamond Platinumz and Chronixx.

But there is also news: Burna Boy, Davido, Skepta, Yemi Alade and Mavado.

Afro Nation, furthermore, declares that it is closely monitoring the situation in Portugal and is working with its partners, local authorities and the Portuguese government.

"The safety of the public, artists, staff and the local community is, and always will be, the main concern of promoters," the statement read.

The Afro Nation is an annual African festival, the objective of which is to bring together the diaspora in summer around a celebration of Afro-Caribbean culture by African stars.

In the last edition, over 25 foreigners came, mostly from the UK, to enjoy the sounds and rhythms of African origin.
