BURNA BOY AND ANGÉLIQUE KIDJO, NOMINATED FOR THE GRAMMY AWARDS!

This Wednesday, November 20, the full list of nominees for the prestigious Grammy Awards has been unveiled!
We find the singer Lizzo with 8 nominations, she is the artist with the most nominations this year.

In the category, “Best Music World Album”, we find the Nigerian singer Burna Boy, nominated for his album “African Giant“. Very moved by this appointment, he reacted on his Instagram account by dedicating it to the entire African continent.
The Beninese singer, Angélique Kidjo was also nominated in the same category for her album “Célia” in tribute to the late Afro-Latina singer Célia Cruz. But this is not the first time for the famous artist who has already won the award 3 times in this category. The first in 2008 with his album “Djin djin”, in 2015 with the album “Eve” and in 2016 with the album “Sings”.

It only remains to wait for the 26th January 2020 to see if one of these two artists will win the trophy… In the meantime, let's wish them good luck!
