Lil Wayne landed his fourth number 1 on the Billboard 200 with Tha Carter V. The long-awaited project from the CEO of Young Money sold nearly 480 album units in the first week of its release, including 000 traditional sales.
This marks Wayne's fourth No. 1 album after Tha Carter IV (two weeks at No. 1 in 2011), I'm Not Human Being (one week at No. 1 in 2010) and Tha Carter III (three weeks at No. ° 1 1, 2008).
Tha Carter V won the third biggest week of sales for an album in 2018, after Drake's Scorpion (732) and Travis Scott's Astroworld (000).
Logic's YSIV follows Weezy, which comes in second with 167 units (000 in traditional sales). This is the Maryland rapper's second album to make the top two in 122, following Bobby Tarantino II released in March.
