According to the Atlanta police, T-Pain's bodyguard was detained at the airport when a security checkpoint found a gun in his backpack. He and the rapper were transferred to the Atlanta Airport Police Station to continue the investigation, where it was determined that T-Pain was the rightful owner of the gun his bodyguard was carrying ... and he has provided a valid transport permit.
The gun was returned to the rapper, the two men were released and no charges were laid. However, we are told that an investigation is underway to determine whether the bodyguard will be charged with possession of a weapon at a TSA checkpoint.
